New Year Message from the CEO

2010 proved to be a fantastic year for the company and positions us well for a future in which an improving economy should accelerate our growth. Highlights of the past year include:
  • Over 30% revenue growth (the highest percentage growth year the company has achieved)
  • Selection as one of the 35 Best Places To Work in the Triangle
  • Selection as one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the Triangle
  • #25 ranking of the Top 100 Small Businesses in North Carolina

We have already been awarded a new contract in 2011 for the redesign of the North Carolina State Treasurer’s web site. We are adding a group of 20 trainers to the support team for Pearson School Systems. We expect growth in our teams at LabCorp and the Army during the first quarter of 2011. Tina Winter started with the company in late 2010 and has had an immediate impact on our education business. Tracy Felton starts in early 2011 and will assist with business development with the Army and other military services.

We are expecting to grow another 30% in 2011. This will mean that in the three years since January 2009 we will have grown the business 250% in the face of the worst economic downturn in generations. Everyone can be proud of this performance.

Finally, we donated to several worthy charities: Haiti relief through UNICEF,Operation Homefront to support soldiers and their families, the Raleigh-based Jimmy V Foundation to support cancer research, and the General H. Hugh Shelton Leadership Center. I thank all of you who contributed and am happy to report that we raised over $10,000 through employee and corporate contributions.

As good as 2010 was, the future looks even brighter. I look forward to working with everyone to grow the business and create opportunities that allow everyone to grow with us. Thanks for your hard work, dedication, and loyalty. It is very much appreciated.

Regards,

Darrell Smith, CEO
